Peer Support Team Members may contact Jenny during business hours by phone or email.
Peer Support Team Lead has 24/7 access to contact Jenny by phone. If an in-person response is needed after business hours it must go through Team Lead (MacKenzie). Station 1 and Station 2 crew lines are set to ring through silent on MacKenzie's phone.
Why do after hour responses from Jenny need to go through the Team Lead?
This is not for the Team Lead to "get the scoop" or pry into what's going on. It's simply so that they can assist in the mobilization of continued resources if needed. The team lead has direct lines to other Peer Support Team Leads, CISM resources, and out-of-the-box resources such as therapy dogs. The TeamĀ Lead does not need to know the nature of the incident, and will not ask questions about who was involved unless requested by the crew. The Team Lead can also assist in assigning follow-up checkins amongst the Peer Support Team if necessary.
