Patrick Neff is the Director of Bands at West Park High School. He teaches Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, and Percussion. Prior to West Park, Mr. Neff was the Director of Instrumental Music at Rosemont High School in Sacramento. He graduated from the University of the Pacific in 2015 with a Masters in Music Education, where he studied conducting with Dr. Eric Hammer and worked as a Graduate Assistant Director. In 2013, he graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelors in Music Education (Cum Laude) where he studied percussion with Dr. Pius Cheung. He has served on the board of California Music Educator's Association Capitol Section as President and High School Band Representative. As a performer, Mr. Neff was featured as a soloist with the Pacific Symphonic Wind Ensemble during their 2019 Carnegie Hall Tour. He is a member of the Pi Kappa Lambda National Music Honor Society as well as the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.Â
During his time at West Park, Mr. Neff has been awarded West Park Teacher of the Year (2024-25), CMEA Capitol Section Outstanding Band Educator (2024), a Teacher Who Makes a Difference (2023), and a RJUHSD Award of Excellence (2022).

Ryan is a marching arts drill designer, instructor, choreographer and clinician. He’s worked with over thirty music programs, in a variety of roles, across the middle school, high school, collegiate and independent levels. As a performer, he marched trumpet, baritone and euphonium with the Sacramento Mandarins Drum & Bugle Corps, and is currently a visual instructor for the organization. He is also a percussion and visual judge for many circuits, including the Northern California Band Association, Western Band Association, USBands and Winter Guard Arizona. He is passionate about providing young adults with the instruction, knowledge and tools to reach their highest potential.
Ryan holds three degrees in Business Administration and a minor in music. In his spare time, he enjoys attending dance workshops, performing as a percussionist with local symphony orchestras and getting iced coffee. He is thrilled to be working with the West Park Panther Marching Band!
Anthony was born and raised in San Diego, CA, where he developed his passion for the percussive arts in middle school and high school. In 2015, he moved to Sacramento and attended CSUS Sacramento, where he played snare drum for Marching Band and Indoor Percussion. He later become a section leader and eventually an instructor for the program. He has also played snare drum for EnVision, a WGI group based out of Reno, NV.  Anthony has taught and served as battery caption head, arranger, visual designer, and program coordinator for various groups throughout the Greater Sacramento area, ranging from middle school to the collegiate level. Anthony has been a part of the West Park band program from the beginning, and serves as a drumline instructor and visual instructor for Marching Band and Indoor Percussion. He is currently pursuing a Masters degree with an aim to become a school counselor. When he is not teaching, he is either with his two dogs, Obi and Tina, in the snow, or playing ultimate frisbee.Â
