All West Park Band students are encouraged to audition and participate in regional and statewide honor bands. Completion of a recorded audition for CMEA Capitol Section Honor Band, NorCal Honor Band, All-Northern Honor Band, or All-State Honor Band may be done in place of the Fall semester final.

Mr. Neff participated in CMEA Capitol Section Honor Band, All-Northern Honor Band, and All-State Honor Band when he was in high school (he was not within the boundary for Nor Cal). He knows the value of these experiences and all students are encouraged to see him for guidance and coaching during preparation for recorded auditions.
