April 12th - Pasta Pump Up
Join us for a Pasta Pump Up on Friday, April 12th at Mother Teresa Catholic Church from 5:30-7pm. We will be partnering with Mother Teresa Catholic Church for this event and talk to the families that attend about the important work done at Birthchoice and hand out race bibs and tee-shirts. All proceeds from the Run for Life benefit Birthchoice.

On April 13th Birth Choice will be hosting their 29th annual Run for Life at Wake Med Soccer Park. The mile run will begin at 8:30 am and the 5k will start at 9 am. All proceeds of the race will go to Birthchoice, which has been providing free services to pregnant women since 1971. Birthchoice provides women with pregnancy tests, limited ultrasounds, and other services for free! We look forward to seeing everyone there!

April 26th-27th: Ignited By Truth Catholic Conference
Ignited by Truth is a Catholic Conference held in Raleigh, NC that comprises a night of worship on Friday and a full day of speakers on Saturday. Anyone who is interested in attending can meet up with the club at the event, tickets for students are free, you can reserve them here. Our Lady of Guadalupe SFLA will be hosting a table at this event. A sign-up genius will be sent out very soon for anyone interested in helping at the table.

On April 28th Our Lady of Guadalupe will be partnering with Mother Teresa Catholic Church's Faith Formation Program and Respect Life Ministry to run a Saint Gianna Tea party, that would serve as both an educational event and fundraiser for Room at the Inn. At this event, we will celebrate life and the wonderful example set forth by Saint Gianna (and a few other pro-life saints), talk to the children about the beauty and value of life, and collect needed items for Room at the Inn, a maternity home in Greensboro, NC. This event will be held at Mother Teresa Catholic Church from 3-5pm. More information and a sign-up genius will come out soon!

On May 11th we will be hosting our May business meeting from 1-3 pm. At this meeting, we will discuss why it is so important that we march for the unborn, make signs for the NC March for Life on May 18th, and plan for some upcoming events.

On May 18th North Carolina will be hosting its annual march for life. Members of SFLA West Cary will attend the mass, rally, and march as a group. More information about time and location will be coming soon.
