These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the WELINK LTD mobile application and related services. The App is distributed via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store and operates as a digital marketplace platform only.
By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and all in‑app disclosures. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
The Platform is a technology marketplace that facilitates introductions and payments between:
businesses seeking labour services (Businesses), and
independent workers (Workers).
The Platform does not provide labour services, does not employ Workers, and does not act as a labour hire company, recruitment agency, or employer.
Workers are independent contractors engaged directly by Businesses under agreed job terms displayed in the App.
The Platform does not supervise, manage, direct, or control work performed onsite.
Users must be at least 18 years old.
All users must create an account and accept these Terms before accessing App features.
The Platform may approve, restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts at its sole discretion.
Jobs are listed by Businesses and matched based on category, availability, ratings, reliability score, and proximity.
Businesses may view Worker profiles, work history, and star ratings before confirming a booking.
The minimum booking duration is 8 hours. The maximum standard booking duration is 12 hours.
All prices are:
fixed by category,
clearly displayed before confirmation,
GST inclusive, and
charged immediately once a Worker is matched.
Payments are processed via Stripe.
Accepted payment methods may include credit/debit card and supported third‑party payment options such as Afterpay, where available.
The Platform does not store payment card or bank details.
Full payment is required at the time a Worker is matched.
If a Business chooses to pay using Afterpay, an additional 6% fee will be applied on top of the displayed booking price.
The Afterpay fee is clearly disclosed before payment confirmation.
Afterpay allows eligible users to split payments into instalments according to Afterpay’s own terms and approval process.
Use of Afterpay is subject to Afterpay’s terms, conditions, and eligibility requirements.
The Platform does not control Afterpay approvals, repayment schedules, or fees charged by Afterpay.

Workers are paid weekly by default.
Workers may request Fast Payout, processed within 24 hours, subject to a 4% processing fee.
4.4 The Platform may update fees at any time. All fees are disclosed in-App prior to payment confirmation.
Cancellations up to 4 hours before the scheduled start time receive a full refund.
Cancellations within 4 hours are eligible for a 50% refund only.
Arrival 20 minutes or more late constitutes a no‑show.
Missing a first booked shift or no‑showing may result in immediate account termination.
If a Worker arrives after 20 minutes, continuation of the shift is at the Business’s discretion.
Businesses must contact Platform support via the approved in‑App channel.
Investigations and refunds are processed within 48 hours.
Refunds may be returned to wallet balance or original payment method.
6.1 The Platform may replace any Worker if required.
6.2 If a Worker cannot attend a confirmed shift, the Platform will attempt to source a replacement.
6.3 If no replacement is found, the Platform will issue an appropriate refund.
7.1 Businesses are solely responsible for:
onsite supervision,
compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015,
public liability insurance, and
providing a safe working environment.
7.2 Workers must supply their own tools, equipment, and protective gear unless otherwise stated.
7.3 The Platform disclaims all onsite risk, injury, loss, or damage to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8.1 The following result in immediate suspension or termination:
drug use onsite,
fraud or misrepresentation,
abuse, harassment, or unsafe behaviour,
attempting to bypass or avoid Platform fees.
8.2 Businesses may blacklist Workers, preventing future matches.
8.3 The Platform may suspend or terminate accounts without notice or explanation, where permitted by law.
9.1 Ratings are star‑based and reflect prior performance.
9.2 Workers maintain a reliability score, including attendance and punctuality.
9.3 Ratings influence job visibility and eligibility.
10.1 The App uses GPS location services to verify:
check‑in and check‑out,
presence within a defined radius of the Business‑supplied address.
10.2 The Platform retains only:
work history records, and
limited identification data.
10.3 Users may request data deletion at any time under the Privacy Act 2020.
11.1 Most disputes are resolved internally within 48 hours.
11.2 Support is provided via approved in‑App channels only.
12.1 The Platform may modify App features, fees, or Terms at any time.
12.2 Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes are subject to New Zealand courts.
This App is offered by WELINK LTD, not Apple Inc. or Google LLC. Apple and Google are not responsible for the App, its content, or services provided through it.
8.1 The following actions may result in immediate suspension or termination of the user’s account, at the Platform’s sole discretion:
Drug use onsite
Fraud, misrepresentation, or falsifying information
Abuse, harassment, or unsafe behaviour
Attempting to bypass or avoid Platform fees
Attempting to circumvent the App to conduct business outside the Platform
8.2 Any worker or business found attempting to bypass the Platform:
Will have their account flagged, restricted, or permanently terminated
Will forfeit any current or future incentives or rewards
Will lose eligibility for any App-based promotions, bonuses, or special features
8.3 Eligibility for incentives is conditional upon adherence to all App rules. Circumventing the Platform or violating its Terms voids rewards and usage rights entirely.
8.4 Businesses may also blacklist Workers, preventing future matches.
8.5 The Platform may suspend or terminate accounts without notice or explanation, as permitted by law.
Any cancellations, no-shows, or refunds must be handled through the Platform.
Attempting to bypass these procedures or arrange payment outside the App voids refund eligibility and forfeits any service protections.
By using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use.
