Workers registered on WeLink are independent contractors and are not employees of WeLink Ltd.

Businesses may undergo screening as part of onboarding and compliance processes.
The app may access GPS location data to:
Match Workers with nearby jobs
Assist Workers in locating job sites
Location data is used solely for operational functionality and is not publicly displayed.
Once a Worker and Business are matched:
In-app messaging may be enabled
Phone numbers are not publicly visible
Contact details are accessible only to authorised WeLink administrators where necessary
We use personal information to:
Facilitate job matching between Workers and Businesses
Verify identity and qualifications
Conduct reference and police checks where applicable
Process payments
Provide customer support
Manage disputes and refunds
Ensure legal and regulatory compliance
Prevent fraud and misuse of the platform
We do not sell personal information to third parties.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
WeLink:

Refunds are reviewed and handled manually by authorised staff to ensure fairness and compliance.
The WeLink platform is built using Flutter and hosted on infrastructure provided by Firebase.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information, including:

Access to personal information is limited to authorised personnel only.
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to:
Operate the platform
