You are tasked with creating a 1-2 minute video about you. This video is a story about you and the things that you want to share with your classmates. Within the story, the following questions should be answered: Who am I? Why did I choose this school? What are the things that define me? You choose what you want to focus on. For example, your video may show the group around your town, or your home. You may want to introduce your family or a pet. You could talk about a hobby or a sport. This is only limited by your imagination
Criteria.

How to do I give good feedback to my group?
Feed back and review is an important part of any project. It gives the author ideas on how to enhance and improve their product. However, feedback must be given in an appropriate manner to be effective.
Tips on Providing Effective Feedback.
1. Be kind.
2. Be specific, simply say thing like, "I like your storyboard " Or Your storyboard is awful" is not helpful to the creator.
Example language: "I like how you transitioned from the first part of the video to the second. I wonder if you could use a similar transition to help part three be consistent with the rest of the video?"
3. Watch this video on the TAG method of giving feedback for additional ideas.
Curate is a fancy way of saying, "gather all of the pieces of your video"
1. Photos: take new photos or use old one. Is you are taking new ones and using a cell phone remember that your final video must have images in the landscape potion and not the portrait position. If old photos are in the incorrect position try manipulating them with WeVideo to Creatively use that black space. You can zoom in on high Quality images to focus on certain areas or move an image to the side and add text to the black space. There are may creative ways for you to fix this problem.

2. Video: Take new video footage or use old footage. Watch these videos and read the article for tips on pro filming techniques.
This video is about Skype interviews, but the concept is the same.
3. Audio: Audio can make or break a video. You can have the best visuals, but if your audio is bad your video will not be good.
Voice over: Don't film in a location that has an echo or lots of noise. If the air conditioner turns on, if a helicopter is flying overhead, if the lawn mower is going, then you may need to move to a new location, or wait for those noises to pass before recording.
Music: WeVideo has free music available, but it's not very good. Try finding appropriate audio from sources like Freeplaymusic.com Remember that you must follow Copyright rules The Fair Use section of my copywriter website explains what to do if you want to use popular music.
