Dr. Wei Yin is a tenure-track Assistant Professor at the School of Applied Engineering and Technology and the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). His research centers on Biomechanics, with a particular interest in wearable robots, exoskeleton, rehabilitation engineering, and human-robot collaboration. At AnyMotion Lab, the aim is to understand the underlying neuromusculoskeletal mechanisms of human-exoskeleton interaction through the integration of digital human modeling and artificial intelligence, and apply those approaches to promote the design and development of wearable assistive devices to enhance human mobility and health.
