Bruno Pessoa Carvalho

Short bio

Bruno P. Carvalho is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics of the Universidad de Alcalá, an Associate Professor at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and an Associate Fellow at ECARES (SBS-EM, Université Libre de Bruxelles). He holds a PhD in Economics from Nova SBE (UNL)  and since 2020, he has been co-coordinating the project "Portugal, Social Balance", a partnership between Nova SBE and  La Caixa Foundation, about poverty and inequality in Portugal. He is an applied microeconomist, mostly interested on Public and Regional Economics and Political Economy.
