I am currently an Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) at the Department of Economics of Universidad de Alcalá, where I teach Microeconomics and Introduction to Economics (undergraduate).
I also teach European Foundations of the Eurozone (graduate) at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and I am an Associate Fellow at ECARES (SBS-EM, Université Libre de Bruxelles).
Since 2020, I have been co-coordinating the project "Portugal, Social Balance", a partnership between Nova SBE and La Caixa Foundation, about poverty and inequality in Portugal.
I hold a PhD in Economics from Nova SBE (UNL) and I am an applied microeconomist, mostly interested on Public and Regional Economics and Political Economy.
