About Me:

Hi, I am Sugata. I am a 4th year Ph.D. student at IIT Kanpur, working broadly in the domain of experimental condensed matter physics under the supervision of Prof. Satyajit Banerjee. I completed my Master's from this institute, doing a M.Sc. project in the same lab. Currently, I am working on topological insulator materials, their properties from 3D to 2D, alongside the physics of strongly correlated systems as well as the intriguing interplay of strong correlation and topology in materials.
