Each team will have to decide which member will have the following roles:
- The Producer- the producer's job is to keep everyone moving along at the right speed to complete the work and to make sure everyone is doing their part.
- The Researcher- the researcher's job is to stay in charge of the website browsing. The researcher also makes sure that everyone understands the information before moving on. The researcher will record all information during the research stage of the mission. This person will also record all of the information from the different sources that the team is using. This person should be someone who can type well!
- The Script Writer- the script writer's is to take the notes from the research stage and turn them into a script for the commercial using input from the team. This includes the writing on all the state facts that the team decides needs to be included. This person should be someone who is motivated and who can type well! This person also must make sure that the resources are correctly recorded in the works cited for inclusion in the video.
- The Designer- the designer will be in charge of deciding which background images go along with the commercial. The designer will need to work with the script writer to make sure the backgrounds match the script.
- The Director; the director is in charge of putting together the commercial at the end of the project. They will be working the iPad and will have to put the video together if there is more than one scene in the video.
** In groups of 4, the producer and designer will be one job.
