Mission Stage 4:

Today we will be recording all of the commercials in the green screen room.

Silence is very important at this stage of the mission. In order to make sure that all commercials reflect well on NEBA and the entire United States, the Mission Commander reminds each team that while they are not recording that they must be working silently on other things in the library (see suggestions below).

The Mission Commander will be available to all groups if help is needed while recording. She may also assign one student from another group to help with this task. The Mission Commander will let your group know when it is your turn. Please review the Green Screen Recording Instruction below before entering the green screen room.

When your group is done recording it is the responsibility of the Director to review the video and make changes using iMovie if needed.

Instructions on the Green Screen Room

There are four sets of lights in the green screen room. To turn the appropriate ones on please:

• Switch on the outlet inside the room's door
• Flip both switches to the on position on each of the two light sets next to the tripod.
• Flip the left switch to the on position on the light set in the corner.

Place your team's iPad into the holder on the tripod and turn the lock on the tripod so the iPad does not fall out.

To Save Your Background Picture

• Go to Safari on the iPad.
• Find the link
• Save the picture. See Mission Commander if you need further instructions.

To Use DoInk

• Open the DoInk app.
• Click on the plus sign in the top right corner then click on "Create a New Project" to start a new project.
• On the right side click on the middle plus sign. Click Image. Click All. Choose your background picture. Click Use.
• On the right side click on the top plus sign. Click Camera. If needed, click the camera button on the top right corner to turn the camera around.
• Click the big red button on the bottom middle to start the recording. It will count backwards from 5 before recording starts.
• When the video is done, click on the square to stop.
• Save to the Camera Roll.
