Academic Resource Use | Resource Perceptions | Decision-making
Welcome! We are a research group in the Department of Biological Sciences at Louisiana State University. We conduct discipline-based education research focused on students' experiences in Biology courses and how instructors can better support students' persistence and success in STEM higher education.
News from the lab:
Maryrose and Supuni attended the annual conference of the Society for the Advancement of Biology Education Research (SABER). Maryrose presented data about Evolution at LSU and Supuni presented a talk about students' perceptions of academic resources. MSU was gorgeous and we were happy to visit.
Jordan presented a poster at LSU's undergraduate research conference, Discover Day. His work focused on the impacts of students' self-efficacy levels on their resource use in introductory biology. Great work, Jordan!
