Coca-Cola
I think my favorite part was when White corporate America was on its anti-White hiatus—when the Director of Talent at Wieden & Kennedy, Astrid Boesze, told me that now wasn’t a good time to break into the industry. In other words, because of the color of my skin—I kid you fucking not.
Or maybe it was when I accidentally stumbled into a presentation with Walter T. Geer III, who still works at VML. He came right out and said he was telling VML recruiters to consider Black candidates only, no joke!
The same fucking idiots who were—and continue to be—responsible for the inequities are the same fucking idiots incapable of fixing their own mistakes. Donating billions of dollars to everyone but White people, specifically poor Whites, in the middle of an economic crisis that existed prior to COVID, was nothing short of racist.
Just look at Target now—Black supremacy UX for you. It bit them in the ass and I love that for them. Where was the Asian, Hispanic and broader DEI representation? Nowhere to be fucking found.
Poverty is poverty, regardless of where it stems from—period. It’s one thing to have DEI programs geared toward a specific race; it’s another to exclude an entire race from participating! One School, MAIP—I could go on for days, other than to quote…
“We can never be satisfied as long as our children are stripped of their adulthood and robbed of their dignity by signs stating ‘For Whites Only.’” —MLK
But now it's okay to have signs stating ‘For Blacks Only’, thanks to the Associated Press and countless others!
In lieu of Coca-Cola's racist propaganda, I wrote and designed this, laminated it and then tossed it in the mail for the world to see.
