Goals of the Mod:
------------------------
1) Update the Leader images to be almost 100% colorized. I've also added a significant amount of leader images and made corresponding OOB updates, updating leaders who were given generic artwork in the base game. This adds a little more variety and flavor to the game.
I've done my best to be as accurate as possible with this, although it gets a little challenging at times, especially on the Austrian side.
Generic images were limited as much as possible.
2) I've added Regimental / Battalion flags where possible.
French side: This adds flags on the French side that were still in use during the 1809 campaigns.
French Allies: Where possible, I've added historically accurate flags.
Austrian Side: I've added Austrian flags for most units. I have not found details for what Landwehr units of the time carried.
3) Unit Images:
I've borrowed from a number of titles, as well as the old "Volcano Man" graphics package mod, specifically for some of the more unique units to this game. I think WDS graphics from "Napoleon in Russia," "Peninsular War," "Eylau," "Jena," and "Leipzig" were all utilized, if not more titles.
Additions were also made to allow for the correct coloring on French Cavalry units, as well as Austrian Infantry and Cavalry units.
Please note that during this campaign the "German" Austrian units were still using their old helmet style headwear, while the "Hungarian" Austrian units were transitioning to Shako. Using a couple uniform books on the subject, I've tried to map the right regiments to each style.
4) This follows a VERY similar design pattern to "EZJax" mods available on Napoleonic Games Club site.
The French and Austrian art on the top right of a unit box comes straight from there.
