We are planning a Workshop for 2024 Q1!
This workshop is part of an ongoing project which aims to comprehensively and quantitatively examine the complex relationships among SDGs. Additionally, the study aims to determine the relationships between SDGs and transportation variables and the degree of these relationships.
Initially, transportation aspects have been identified from a systems perspective by collectively considering the 169 sub-goals of SDGs.
In the workshop phase of the research, a fuzzy cognitive map will be created using relationships and their levels, and detailed scenario analyses will be conducted. In this phase, in addition to fuzzy cognitive maps, the DEMATEL technique will be utilized to determine the most critical factors in the network of relationships, the factors that affect others the most, and the factors that are affected the most. The direct relationships among the variables will be determined in the next phase. Delphi technique will be used to benefit from expert judgments in this phase.
Finally, as an output of this workshop, the scenarios will be deepened using transportation policies specific to Turkey to create a road map for Turkey. The main goals in the 12th Development Plan prepared by the T.R. Presidential Strategy and Budget Department will be used to conduct Turkey-specific analyses. This roadmap will be proposed to achieve both general goals applicable to all countries and specific goals for Turkey.
