BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Leticia N. Aquino is Associate Professor V of Philippine Normal University-North Luzon. She is currently the Dean of Academics and Indigenous Peoples Education in the university. She was the former Head of the Department of Languages, Linguistics, and Literature and Officer-In-Charge of the office of Human Resources Group in the campus.
Dr. Aquino has earned her Ph.D. by Research in Early Childhood Education at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, Perak Malaysia; Ph.D. in Educational Management at University of La Salette; MA in Language Teaching (Academic Units) at University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City; Certificate in Preschool at Philippine Normal University, Isabela Campus; and Bachelor in Elementary Education at Philippine Normal College, Isabela Campus.
Dr. Aquino is a curriculum mapper/writer in Kindergarten Program in the Philippines on Global Citizenship Education (GCED) Curriculum Development and Integration. She has written books in Early Childhood Education, Children’s Literature, Speech and Stage Arts, Speaking and Listening, Writing, Reading, and Grammar. Her research areas include Early Childhood Education, Educational Management and Leadership, Language Education, Mother Tongue Based-Multi-Lingual Education and IP Education. She has been invited as resource speaker, lecturer, coordinator, reviewer, and consultant of academic gatherings.
