"Camp Perry Round": A precision target event based on NRA Bullseye Pistol in which participants shoot handguns at paper targets at fixed distances and time limits. All ages can compete with smallbore pistols while older members may also compete with centerfire pistols. rules
Smallbore pistol silhouette: A match where the object is to knock metal animal shaped targets from a rail. Distances vary from 40 yds to 100 yds and the difficulty is scaled for age classification. NRA Pistol Silhouette Rules
Precision Air Pistol: A precision event in which participants shoot at paper targets at 10 meters.
Rapid Fire Air Pistol: An event similar to precision air pistol but under time constraints. Competitors fire 8 series of 5 shots with each shot fired in 3 second intervals. At the “Fire” command the shooter has 3 seconds to acquire the target and fire a shot. Followed by a 20 second reload period, then a brief “ready” period before repeating the sequence again. A short rest period will be given between each series of 5 shots.
