This time, we had the absolute pleasure of hosting Anam Tebha – an elite player from the USA, multiple international title holder, and an inspiring figure in the world of Bridge.

Warm congratulations to Angeliki Politou from Greece, who has been selected by the EBL Women’s Committee as the Women’s Coordinator of the Year 2024!
(In 2023, this recognition was awarded to Helle Rasmussen from Denmark.)
Angeliki was chosen following a thorough review of all nominations submitted by national federations.
While many inspiring and dedicated Women's Coordinators were nominated, and each deserved appreciation, the committee ultimately selected one coordinator whose work particularly aligned with this year’s focus and criteria.
Her achievements include:
✅ Advocating for gender equality and strengthening female representation within her federation
✅ Organizing and promoting women’s bridge events both locally and internationally
✅ Ensuring every woman who wanted to improve her bridge skills had the opportunity to do so
✅ Encouraging women to take the leap and gain international experience – and more
In recognition of her outstanding contribution, Angeliki received a Certificate of Appreciation, and thanks to her efforts, the Hellenic Bridge Federation was awarded a €500 reimbursement from the EBL Women’s Fund to support the continued development of women’s bridge.
Her inspiring work has made a real difference in the growth of women’s bridge in Greece – and we’re confident she will continue to spark change across Europe.
👏 Bravo, Angeliki! Your passion is paving the way for many others to follow.
The 2nd European Online Women’s Teams Championship has come to an end today (April 27th, 2025) — and what an unforgettable event it was!
