We would like to take this opportunity to extend special thanks, to the RealBridge managers Shireen Mohandes, Andy Bowles. The time and work you invested in this project are priceless and highly appreciated by all.

Thanks also goes to the TDs: Marc van Beijsterveldt and Paola Gennaro, Linnea Edland and of course to the National Women's Coordinators without whose help, organizing such a huge project would be much more difficult.

Last but not least – thanks goes to all guest coaches who volunteered to share their knowledge and professional tips – you made this prestigious training program what it is.

And of course we don't forget and acknowledge all women who participated in this training program - we hope you enjoyed it, improved your Bridge skills and gained added motivation to continue playing, learning and participating in high level tournaments.

We believe in you, and you have every reason to believe in yourselves!

See you all in our future activities (stay tuned).

The 1st Women's Champion's Cup has come to an end – History in the making!

All agree that the women's category is a wonderful and natural addition to the prestigious Champion's Cup competition, which started 26 years ago.

Year after year we witnessed a total male majority in this competition, which is why the Women's Bridge Committee decided that it's time for a change.

As of 2023 Women Bridge players have the opportunity to participate as well, in this prestigious championship.

And so, after 26 years, it was heart warming to see the competition venue, finally filled with dozens of women who grabbed the opportunity with both hands and proved that Women's Bridge has a significant place and is not to be overlooked.

We would like to thank all the women players who took part in this historic event in the levish Rixos hotel in Dubrovink (which enhanced this auspicious occasion).

Congratulations to:

The FRENCH champions for winning the Gold medal,

To Odense bridge club (Denmark) for winning the Silver

And to German champions for winning the Bronze.

Oryah Meir & Emmanuelle Monod gave the medals to the winners, on behalf of the Women's Bridge Committee.

More on the daily bulletin Click Here.

We are delighted to announce that next year, the Women's category will increase and comprise 10 teams.

We will continue to work together, to bring more training opportunities for women as well as to increase the number of competitive women players participating in top-level events.

We look forward to seeing you all in our future events.

The WBC is here for you.

The 1st ever Women's Champion's Cup has begun – how thrilling!

After many preparations, it is finally happening.

The initiative of the EBL's Women's Bridge Committee has taken shape and is being hosted in the wonderful and pampering Rixos hotel in Dubrovnik.

For the first time in the Champion's Cup's history, we finally see dozens of women players participating in this event.

Originally the Champion's Cup this year intended hosting 20 teams (12 in the Open category and 8 in the Women's category).

However, 3 weeks ago the 2 Israeli teams that were meant to partake, had to cancel their participation, due to the war which broke out on the 7th of October. We were able to find a replacement team in the Open category but unfortunately not for the Women's category.

Nevertheless, we wish the 1st Women's Champion's Cup to be successful, fun and enjoyable and that this is the beginning of a great tradition which affords more opportunities for women players to gain experience in the international arena.

We would like to thank all involved - EBL's staff, NBOs and Women's Coordinators, Championship's Committee and of course the women players who are showing that "Women's Bridge Matters" and is alive and kicking.

Good luck to all and may the best team win.
