These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Yassine Hammouti ("we", "us", or "our") regarding your use of the Wayo mobile application and its features (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using Wayo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. THE APP
Wayo is a personal parking assistant that helps you remember where you parked your car and guides you back to it using maps, a compass, AR walk-back navigation, photos, voice notes, parking meter reminders, and related features. Wayo is provided for your personal, non-commercial use.
2. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Wayo. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. LICENSE
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Wayo on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
4. YOUR CONTENT AND DATA
You are responsible for the information you create in Wayo, such as parking locations, vehicle details, license plate, photos, voice notes, and notes. This content is stored on your device and, if you enable iCloud sync, in your own private iCloud account. We do not access, control, or back up your content. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups (for example through Apple iCloud). How your information is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.
5. IN-APP PURCHASES AND SUBSCRIPTIONS
Wayo may offer optional auto-renewing subscriptions that unlock premium features — currently a weekly subscription and a yearly subscription. The available plans, their duration, and the features included may change over time.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours beperiod. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of thecurrent period.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings.
- All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's policies.
- We use RevenueCat, a third-party subscription-management service, to validate purchasion and entitlement status. Your use of purchases is also subject to RevenueCat's termsand privacy policy. RevenueCat does not process your payment; Apple does.
Prices and the features included may change over time. Any change will not affect a purchase you have already made except as permitted for auto-renewing subscriptions.
6. SAFETY AND RESPONSIBLE USE
Wayo is a convenience tool and an aid only. Maps, location, compass, AR navigation, distance, direction, and reverse-geocoded addresses may be inaccurate or unavailable.
- Do not use the App while driving or in any way that distracts you from operating a vehicle safely.
- Always pay attention to your surroundings, traffic, and people when using location, Aok where you are going; do not stare at your screen while walking.
- You are solely responsible for complying with all parking rules, signs, meters, and local laws. Wayo's reminders and meter timers are aids only and may fail to alert you (for example if notifications
are disabled, your device is off, or scheduling is delayed). We are not responsible foring, or other costs.
You use the App at your own risk and remain responsible for your own decisions.
7. ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to use Wayo to break any law, to infringe anyone's rights, or to interferise the App, your device, or Apple's services.
8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Wayo relies on Apple services such as Apple Maps, iCloud, and the App Store, on Revenuehases and subscriptions, and on Aptabase for privacy-first, anonymous usage analytics.Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or content.
9. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose,
accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, elable at all times.
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incide, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, parking fines, towing, missed reminders, or other losses arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the App shall not exceed the
amount you paid for the App, if any, in the twelve (12) months before the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply
11. CHANGES TO THE APP AND THESE TERMS
We may update, change, or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time. We maom time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Yourcontinued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. TERMINATION
These Terms remain in effect while you use the App. You may stop using the App and delete it at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.
13. APPLE-SPECIFIC TERMS
These Terms are between you and Yassine Hammouti only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty,
you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum le has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App. Apple is not responsiblefor addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, or consumer protection claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of
these Terms and may enforce them against you.
14. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the developer's place of residence, f-law rules, except where mandatory local consumer-protection laws apply to you.
