A three term former State Senator from New Hampshire, Wayne King was the 1994 Democratic nominee for Governor. King is also the founder of The Electronic Community, a group of social entrepreneurs who helped introduce the Internet to West Africa and continues to work on social and development issues in West Africa.

From 2004-2008 King was also Publisher and Editor of Heart of New Hampshire Magazine. Most recently he served as CEO of MOP Environmental Solutions, a public environmental remediation company.

Senator King has served on the Board of Directors of many state and local organizations: he was a founding member of the NH Community Loan Fund, and served for almost 15 years on the board of the Northern Community Investment Corporation, one of America's foremost Community Development Corporations.

His most recent book is his first novel "Sacred Trust" a ecological thriller that pits eight unlikely characters against a private powerline proposed to run from Canada to the toney suburbs of NY and Philadelphia. About Sacred Trust.
