🏆 AWARDS NIGHT 🏆
Our annual presentation evening will take place on Saturday 11th October at Hotel Victoria in Lowestoft.
The night is a great opportunity to celebrate the athletes success throughout the year and have some fun.

We had a brilliant club championships last month.
It was great to see many athletes competing for the first time and everybody having lots of fun!
Senior athlete Joel had an incredibly successful weekend competing in a 2-day European open in Brussels. He broke the 100m club record with 10.84 seconds. He also broke the 200m record with 21.94 seconds.
James set a new club record for U20 men in 800m at the Watford Harriers Open Graded Meeting, with a time of 1:54.78 and has been selected to compete at English Schools Championships.
Alfie set a new club record for U17 men in 1500m steeplechase at the Anglian Track and Field Championships, with a time of 4:29.3.
Cody set a new club record for the U13 boys mile at the club championships with a time of 5:07.2.
ANGLIAN TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS
Layla, Freya, Erin and Daniel represented Suffolk schools, and Alfie represented Norfolk at the Anglian Schools Championship in Peterborough.
Alfie became champion in the 1500m steeplechase and qualified for English Schools. Layla got a new personal best of 1.35m in high jump to finish in fifth place. Freya finished third in shotput and fifth in long jump with a new personal best of 4.64m. Erin finished second in javelin and third in triple jump with a new personal best of 10.14m. Daniel finished sixth in shotput. Congratulations to all five athletes for competing at this regional level.
QUADKIDS
It has been a great Quadkids season so far for our younger athletes.
Lots of athletes from Waveney have competed in the first four competitions. Mikey has won two bronze medals in June, to go alongside his bronze medal in May. Well done Mikey!

Congratulations to Mikey and Florence, our athletes of the month! Mikey had a multi medal winning QuadKids in June, and Florence has contributed lots of points to the U15 girls team by competing in new events.

JULY TRAINING
Training continues through July at Wellesley Road in Great Yarmouth on Mondays from 6:30 to 8:00 for all athletes and East Point Academy on Thursdays from 6:30 to 7:30 for under 11 and 7:30 to 8:30 for under 13 and over.
Training for endurance athletes is confirmed separately.
