I got my first taste of duathlons with the Jr. Lifeguard program since I was 9 years old. I found the passion for slaying tang my junior year of high school by racing my first triathlon in 2016. I've accomplished many awards in cross country and track in high school including the JV MVP award, a record 6 times and even got a documentary made after my successful career. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PF8N8VgzSDY) I will now been competing with the Long Beach State triathlon team for my 3rd year, in which I am almost the only competitor from my school every race. My new favorite racing racing hobby is running in flip flops. My PR for the 5K in flip flops in 23 minutes, which is 7:24 mile pace. (picture attached)
