My internal time clock is ruined thnx to the Army, and as such, my rides all start at 4am. I only go hard on descents for KOMs and deer fear me. Currently using a broken collarbone as a poor excuse to avoid swimming. I do triathlons so the "pros" in Boulder feel terrible about losing to a cyclist.
