The study is a combination of gathering data using calibrated test equipment and preparing a report which provides a color coded pump discharge pressure chart and diagram for the fire department to keep on the engine.
WSI delivered new 25' and 35' lengths of Key Magnum double jacket supply hose to the Plainsboro Fire District, in Middlesex county NJ. Key Magnum is a high performance double jacket/rubber lined supply/attack rated hose which is ideal for use when connecting to hydrants due to its superior kink resistance. This course is available as one of our training programs. The program is also a good refresher for operators looking to polish up on skills
WSI & GBW Associates partnered to conduct the only known series of tests on most of the common suction strainers and several drafting elbows available on the market today. The tests involved gathering data from each strainer and conducting performance tests.
