BREASTSHOT MILL

Breastshot mills are a variation in the way in which the water hits the wheel, in this case its just above its midpoint and is built this way because the landscape does not permit a good head of water to enable an Overshot mill to operate. The model is shown on the left during its construction, the 'rusty 'wheel is made from 1/32" ply
