When locating Donut Falls, I found Moss Ledge Waterfall up the same canyon. It wasn't a long hike so we decided to go for it. It is a bit of a scramble with 347' elevation gain in .2 miles.
Not much water was coming down at the bottom where we started.
Kurt was ahead and taking pictures of me as I scrambled up the rock.
I made it.
Another series of me climbing. Oh, brother!
Just at the top to the left is a rock that Kurt made me climb by myself. He refused to help me saying, "You can do it!"
Notice the moss--in middle of the waterfall along each side.
Kurt had to crawl across the wet boulder to get closer to the falls.
I didn't crawl across the boulder.
Look at the tight squeeze down the trail.
You have to be skinny to get thru here.
There was a huge tree that grew up and then horizontal--and I am leaning on it.
Heading down a rocky spot.
Here we go again.
Kurt gets down before me--
and then takes pictures of me
as I am
slowly
working my
way down.
