We have been growing fruit for over 23 years. We grow the Torro Canyon Hass avocados and Mission is our packing house for the avocados. We also grow Gold Nugget mandarins. And we grow Lisbon lemons and Limoniera is our packing house for the lemons. We have also just planted 60 coffee plants and are excited to see where that goes. We are researching coffee roasters and all that growing coffee entails. We keep a small amount of trees unpicked so that we can offer the fruit at our Farm Shop as well. We also grow a small amount of navel and Valencia orange trees, about 7 apple trees and as well as a small orchard of cherimoyas, figs, and pomegranates, however, the pollinating of these trees has proven to be somewhat of a challenge. This keeps our harvest at minimum numbers. Bees are too small to pollinate them, and there are not enough bats in our area to pollinate them, so we rely on the birds and what bats are around to pollinate the cherimoyas. We thouroghly enjoy the small amount of fruit that these trees provide. The fruit is delicious.
