Proud of the Way We Grow Our Food
For over 20 years, our family has been proudly farming in the scenic community of Moorpark, California. We are excited to share that we completed the required three years of transitioning to a fully USDA certified organic farm. Now we are beginning the certification process. Our focus is on cultivating both seasonal and year-round fruits, vegetables, and herbs as well as pasture raised eggs and pure unfiltered honey.
Among our offerings, you will find varieties such as Hass avocados, Lisbon lemons, Gold Nugget mandarins, olives, and cherimoyas. We’re thrilled to announce our latest venture into coffee cultivation, having just planted 60 trees featuring 30 Geisha and 30 Caturra varieties.
In addition to our fruits and vegetables, we take pride in our diverse selection of organic herbs, available fresh as well as dried or ground into spices, seasoning blends, and herbal teas. Our beautiful lavender field not only serves as a year-round sanctuary for honeybees, bumblebees, and other beneficial insects, but its fragrant blossoms are also incorporated into our tea blends, spice mixes, and sachets.
We are so excited to announce that we have incorporated field trips for small homeschool groups and other educational programs. These visits provide a wonderful opportunity to learn about regenerative farming, the importance of biodiversity, and how pollinators contribute to a healthy ecosystem. This initiative has been a rewarding addition to our farm, allowing us to spread awareness about the importance of organic farming practices and the dangers associated with conventional methods that involve pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, poisons, and other harmful substances sprayed or applied directly to our food supply.
We invite you to explore our full range of products through our online ordering section, as well as during our Friday Farm Shop hours. Please note that our fruits and vegetables are sold seasonally, so we encourage you to check with us prior to placing an order. Our spices, herbs, and seasonings are available year-round for your convenience. You can also find a limited selection of our products at Hannick Hair Studio in Thousand Oaks.
Thank you for supporting our family farm, and we look forward to sharing the fruits of our labor with you!
