The IHS Competitive Programming Club (CPC) is thrilled to announce its partnership with the Warm Springs PTA. Our CPC team boasts a roster of qualified individuals, including USACO Gold members and multiple ACSL finalists. Our mission is to inspire and cultivate coding skills among elementary students while igniting their passion for programming.

We are excited to offer a series of classes designed to teach students various coding skills, such as Python and Computational Notation/Math. These classes will take place every Monday from 4 to 5 PM at the Warm Springs Campus, commencing on October 31st and spanning 8-10 weeks for Session 1. Stay tuned for Session 2 signups, which will be announced later with a tentative start date in mid-February.

Classes will be taught for all levels of students, and we will teach students the necessary concepts before going into technical lectures. These classes will be accessible to everyone and understandable at a 4th/5th-grade level.

Additionally, students can participate in the American Computer Science League elementary division. We will send sign-up information in the future. Signing up is completely optional but would be tremendously helpful for students. We will teach all the necessary information for students to qualify for nationals.
