Noetic Math
What is Noetic Math Program?
The Noetic Learning Math Contest (NLMC) is a semiannual problem-solving contest for elementary and middle school students.
The goal of the contest is to develop students' problem-solving skills, to encourage their interest in math, and to inspire them to excel in math.
Recognition and Awards:
Team Winner Medal: The highest scorer of each team will receive a 'Team Winner' medal.
National Honor Roll Medal: The top 10% of all participants in the nation will receive 'National Honor Roll' medals.
National Honorable Mention Ribbon: The top 50% of all participants in the nation will receive 'National Honorable Mention' ribbons.
Team Achievement Plaque: The top 10% of teams (excluding after-school institution teams) will receive Team Achievement Plaques.

Spring 2024 Contest Dates at Warm Springs:
Wednesday, April 17th, 2pm to 3pm (Minimum day for all grades, this contest is after school ends)
Eligibility - Grade 3, Grade 4 and Grade 5 kids at Warm Springs Elementary School may register.
Registration Deadline - March 14, 2024
Location - In Person at school
Steps for registration
Pay $7 (per child) via Zelle to prachis@gmail.com (Prachi Shah)- Specify "Noetic Math" and your child's name in the zelle note
Fill the registration form - Zelle transaction number is required for this step
Sit back and relax while WSPTA volunteers take care of next steps. OR Jump in and help out with the logistics.

You will receive confirmation via email at the email address you used in the registration form on or around April 10th, 2024
You will receive practice papers via email
Closer to the contest date, you will receive updates about classroom where your child will need to come on the day of the contest.
A day before the contest, you will get a reminder via email.
FAQs:
Contest date is fixed; alternate testing window not available. Please check contest date and time before registering.
PTA will not be hosting practice / coaching sessions; but we do provide practice material to registered students.
Precise classroom locations will be provided to registered students closer to the contest date.
Students should consider bringing a couple of pencils, eraser, sharpener, scratch papers. We will have some extras just in case.
Parents need to pick up the students promptly after the contest. For parents normally using an after-school pickup service - please remember to tell the pickup service and make alternate arrangements for this day.
