WARIN STREET ART: Bringing Life Back to the City
The street art you see along Thahan Road is part of the project “Reviving Warin: Art that Breathes Life into the City.”
Six artists—KOMKID, BNK52, UNTROOY, HOOTIVE, BOO, and GEE—came together to capture the stories and identity of Warin through their unique artistic styles.
Each artist reinterpreted different aspects of Warin, blending local legends and beliefs—such as the Guardian of the Mun River and the sacred Naga—with the culture and hometown treasures that define the area. These include the charm of pha khao ma, bamboo sticky-rice baskets, and the beloved street snack Tue Ka Ko.
Their murals also draw from shared memories and imagination, echoing familiar landmarks like the Warin Intersection and the deep bond between the community and the river.
These artworks are Warin’s way of greeting you—inviting you to look closer, feel the energy, and discover the hidden charm that lives in every corner of the city.
