Lake Denton is located in Denton. It is frequented by fishers and hikers. The lake itself is home to several varieties of fish and other sea life. A small island, Paradise Island, resides in the middle, though it is only a few feet wide in total. The lake itself is surrounded by forest and only accessible via a single dirt road.
The Voice From The Lake legend originated from Lake Denton. In this legend, a Walker Creek Mayor, Cole Brennan, became paralyzed upon hearing a voice coming from under the surface of the lake. He fell in and upon his return to the surface, was willing to help our kind and even willingly gave into the Hosting Process at the end of his life.
Every year, the Lake Denton Kayak Race takes place at Lake Denton on July 16.
Lake Denton is the site of the Harvest Star Ritual during each Ascension Festival.
