Walden Public School in coordination with School Council fundraising efforts have already installed the following improvements to the school yard:
Mud Kitchens
Mud Kitchens
Mud kitchens were installed in October 2023 and built by Lively District Secondary School students under the supervision of Mr. Chris Dinnes.
GaGa Ball Court
GaGa Ball Court
A GaGa ball court was installed in June 2023 and built by Lively District Secondary School students under the supervision of Mr. Chris Dinnes. This project was made possible by donations from Pinehill Lumber and Futurescape Landscaping.
Soccer Goals
Soccer Goals
Permanent soccer goals and netting will be installed once the ground thaws in May 2025. This initiative was the result of ongoing fundraising by the School Council.
