Walden Public School is proud to partner with local business CRCS Recreation to design and install our playground. Equipment will be purchased from Miracle Recreation. We have divided the project into multiple stages in order to break ground as soon as possible. As we continue to fundraise, we hope to achieve all stages of the project. Depending on fundraising success, phases 2 and 3 may be completed in reverse order.
Phase 1
Phase 1
Phase 1 was installed September 2025. Phase 1 includes an overhead climber structure and a play structure with slide.Â
Total cost was estimated at $78,000.
Phase 2
Phase 2
Phase 2 includes a taller play structure with large twirly slide and shaded roof feature. The anticipated cost is $151,000.
Phase 3
Phase 3
Phase 3 features two smaller play components: a large spinner and a STEM sensory panels. The anticipated cost is $30,000.
