THE PTSA NEEDS YOUR HELP - We invite you to consider volunteering and making a meaningful impact.
An important part of Wakefield’s PTSA are the Committees!
Through our committees, we are able to do things like coordinate events for the Seniors, maintain a presence on key APS committees, and promote fundraising events throughout the year.
The committee organizes three key events throughout the year: a back-to-school breakfast, a holiday snack, and a luncheon during Teacher Appreciation Week. However, we rely on community support to provide these special meals for our staff. Without your help, we won't be able to give them the appreciation they deserve.

This committee is seeking volunteers to help run the plant sale during the Spring Sidewalk Sale at WHS. Volunteers will assist with sales, loading, and organizing pre-orders in shifts.
The Spring Plant Sale is our largest fundraiser of the year, with proceeds supporting teacher grants for the next school year. The PTSA sincerely appreciates your continued support!

PTSA Members/Volunteers help at key events throughout the year, including back-to-school activities and all school-sponsored events. These efforts are aimed at engaging parents and the Wakefield community to join and support the PTSA.
Volunteer opportunities include: connecting with the FFN liason arrival to WHS who drops off and pick-up filled Red Bags and sorting the donated food during the Red Bag Day events. Visit the FFN FAQ page to find out more and to sign up to volunteer in these two very important roles. These are great opportunities for our students to receive volunteer service hours, too.
Food For Neighbors (FFN) is dedicated to combating childhood hunger in our communities. We work closely with schools to ensure that students have access to nutritious food, helping them thrive academically and personally.
