The WA CURE leadership team coalesced through a capacity building process that engaged faculty leaders from 25 different colleges who stepped up to engage in this systemic change effort and offer their insight into the design of a consortium that serves all our colleges, faculty, and students and their diverse needs. One outcome of this process was to have the consortium led by the State Board on behalf of the system and a cross-campus coalition of leaders to support and manage the activities of the consortium.

Dr. Irene Shaver, at the State Board of Washington Community and Technical Colleges is the Principal Investigator, Researcher, and Project Lead.
