Ava Landry, Director of Operations

Ava was the Assistant Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Webster Adult Basic Education Linkages/Webster Public Schools since August 2021 and has since stepped into the role of Director of Operations. She has 10+ years in education including Higher Education, K-12, and Adult Basic Education. Ava received her Bachelor's degrees in Chemistry and Sociology from SUNY Geneseo and her Master’s degree in Sociology from UMASS Amherst. She has published in TRAILS, MELUS, and Acta Crystallographica. In addition, Ava has presented on topics including universal design for learning, instructional technology, artificial intelligence, racial and religious identity, political movements, social stratification, and immigrant acculturation.

Hannah Silvestri, Program Advisor

Hannah has been working with Webster Adult Basic Education Linkages/Webster Public Schools since July 2022. Hannah attended Assumption University’s School of Health Professions and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Services and Rehabilitation in May 2022. Hannah’s concentration was working with Children and Adolescents in Community Settings. She also received a minor in Criminology in her undergraduate career. 

Prior to her professional career, Hannah had an internship placement at the Renaissance Medical Group in Southbridge, MA where she worked as a Case Manager as well as with the counselor on site to provide care to patients. Prior to the pandemic, she volunteered at The Hector Reyes House in Worcester, MA where she also worked as a Case Manager with formerly incarcerated men looking to reintegrate into society.

Outside of the professional setting, Hannah enjoys going to the gym, spending time with family and friends and exploring new restaurants and coffee shops. Hannah is very excited to be part of this team and is looking forward to meeting students.
