Women Make Waves mission is to empower women and advance gender equality through surfing, leveraging sport to drive societal change.
Through strategic partnerships, we collectively work towards this goal. The Western Solomon Surfing Association leads our efforts on the ground, collaborating with local partners, schools and communities in the Western Province of the Solomon Islands.
Together, we can deliver programs that combine education with surfing to drive social change. Women Make Waves is supported by the Australian Government through the Team Up Program.
