Welcome to Girls Go Surfing!
Our goal is to empower women and girls in Gizo. We believe that by building strong networks, removing barriers, and promoting inclusivity, we can inspire more women and girls to gain confidence in surfing and other aspects of life.
The Program
The Program
Thanks to the Play for Equity Grant administrated by Team Up, with support from Women Win, Salt Gypsy, in 2023 we were able to deliver the first ever surf progam in the Solomon Islands for women and girls.
The program aims to empower women through learn-to-surf lessons and surf awareness education.
WSSA aims to continue to provide innovative and fun ways for women and girls to get together and gain more confidence in and around the ocean.
