## Contact support
Email: **madebykd.app@gmail.com**
To help us investigate quickly, include:
- your Vumio app version;
- your iPhone, iOS version;
- your preferred language;
- a short description of what happened and the steps that led to it;
- a screenshot, if helpful.
Please do not send a baby's full medical record, medication details, or other sensitive information unless it is essential to resolve the issue. Never send your Apple Account password, payment-card number, or security code. Vumio support will never ask for them.
## Frequently asked questions
### Where is my information stored?
Baby profiles and care records are stored on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, supported data is also synchronized through your private Apple iCloud/CloudKit environment. Vumio does not require a separate Vumio account and does not operate a separate server that stores your baby-care records.
### How do I enable or disable iCloud sync?
Open **Vumio > Settings > iCloud & Data Protection** and change **Sync with iCloud**. The change takes effect the next time you open Vumio. Make sure you are signed in to iCloud and that iCloud is available on the device.
Turning off iCloud sync does not automatically delete records already stored on the device or in iCloud. Apple's iCloud settings control iCloud storage and deletion outside Vumio.
### My information is not syncing between devices
Check that:
1. both devices use the same Apple Account;
2. iCloud Drive is enabled and Vumio is allowed to use iCloud;
3. **Sync with iCloud** is enabled in Vumio on both devices;
4. both devices have an internet connection and enough iCloud storage;
5. Vumio has been reopened after changing the sync setting.
iCloud imports can take time, especially after reinstalling the app or setting up a new device. If the issue continues, contact support before deleting or reinstalling anything.
### How do I add or edit a baby profile?
Open **Settings**. Under **Babies**, choose **Add Baby Profile** to create another profile, or choose **Edit Selected Profile** to update the current baby's name, birth date, or photo.
### How do I add, edit, or delete a record?
Use the add-record button to choose a tracking type and save an entry. Open an existing entry from **History** to edit or delete it. Timer-based records must have a valid start and end time, and Vumio may prevent overlapping records of the same type.
### Why did my timer or reminder not alert me?
Open the device's **Settings > Notifications > Vumio** and allow notifications and sounds. Also confirm that the relevant reminder is enabled inside Vumio. Focus modes, Low Power Mode, notification summaries, device settings, or system conditions may delay or silence an alert. Notifications are a convenience and should not be relied on for urgent care or medication safety.
### How do I change units, time format, or language?
Open **Vumio > Settings > Preferences**. You can change measurement units, the 24-hour time format, haptic feedback, language, reminder choices, and sleep boundaries.
### How do I delete my data?
To delete an individual item, open it from **History** and choose **Delete**. To delete Vumio data in the app, open **Settings > Delete All Data** and confirm.
This action is intended to permanently delete baby profiles, photos, caregiver information, care records, preferences, and reminders from the app. It cannot be undone. If iCloud sync is enabled, deletion is intended to synchronize across devices, but removal from cached copies or Apple's backups may take time. You may also need to manage Vumio's iCloud data in your Apple device settings.
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
### How do I start, manage, or cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple. Prices, billing periods, and any free-trial eligibility are shown before you confirm a purchase.
To manage or cancel:
1. Open the **Settings** app on your device.
2. Tap your name.
3. Tap **Subscriptions**.
4. Select **Vumio**.
Cancel before the renewal or trial deadline shown by Apple. Deleting Vumio does not cancel billing.
### How do I restore a purchase?
Choose **Restore Purchases** on Vumio's subscription screen. Make sure the device is signed in with the Apple Account that made the purchase. If an eligible subscription is not restored, check its status under Apple's **Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions**, then contact us with the error message. Do not send a receipt containing unnecessary personal information unless requested.
### How do I request a refund?
Apple processes Vumio payments and refund decisions. Request a refund through Apple's **Report a Problem** website or contact Apple Support. Vumio cannot directly issue an App Store refund.
### Does Vumio provide medical advice?
No. Vumio is a personal record-keeping and organization tool, not a medical device, healthcare provider, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency service. Records and summaries may be incomplete or inaccurate. Contact a qualified healthcare professional for medical questions. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
### Is my baby information used for advertising?
Vumio does not display third-party advertisements, use IDFA, track your activity across other companies' apps or websites, or sell baby-care records for advertising. RevenueCat is used to manage subscription access and to measure which Apple Search Ads campaign, ad group, or keyword may have led to an install. This limited attribution uses Apple's AdServices framework and does not give RevenueCat your baby profiles, care records, photos, notes, or other user-created content. See the Privacy Policy for details.
