Vumio is a baby care tracking application developed and operated by Kaan Dındış (“Vumio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Vumio mobile application and contact us for support.
Vumio is designed primarily to help parents and caregivers organize baby-care records. Vumio does not create separate user accounts and does not ask children to provide personal information directly.
If you enter information about another person, you are responsible for making sure that you are authorized to record and manage that information.
Depending on the features you use, Vumio may handle the following information.
Baby profile information, such as a name or nickname, date of birth or expected date, born or not-born status, and an optional photo.
Caregiver information, such as a display name, role, and optional avatar.
Care and wellness records, including feeding, breastfeeding, bottle feeding, pumping, solid food, sleep, diapers, walks, baths, growth measurements, temperature, medicines, doctor visits, vaccines, illness or symptoms, mood, milestones, times, durations, quantities, and notes.
Onboarding and personalization choices, such as goals, feeding preferences, sleep situation, challenges, growth-tracking preferences, desired support, and the activities you choose to track.
App preferences, including language, units, time format, dashboard choices, reminders, notification preferences, haptics, and iCloud sync settings.
Some of this information may be considered health, wellness, or other sensitive personal data under applicable law. Please enter only information that you are authorized and comfortable to store.
If you choose a profile photo, Apple’s photo picker lets you select an image. Vumio receives only the image you choose, not unrestricted access to your entire photo library.
If you grant notification permission, Vumio may schedule local reminders on your device for timers, care activities, or an upcoming trial expiration.
Notifications are scheduled locally on your device. Vumio does not operate a server that sends remote push notifications.
You can change notification permission in your device settings and manage reminder preferences inside Vumio.
Subscriptions are purchased and billed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and entitlements.
Apple and RevenueCat may process an anonymous app-user or customer identifier, product and entitlement information, transaction or receipt-derived information, subscription status, and related device or technical information.
We do not receive or store your complete payment-card details.
Vumio uses Apple’s AdServices framework and RevenueCat to measure the performance of our own Apple Search Ads campaigns. Limited campaign-attribution information may be processed for this purpose.
This measurement does not use Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA), does not track your activity across other companies’ apps or websites, and does not send your baby profiles, care records, photos, or notes to Apple Search Ads or RevenueCat.
Vumio does not display third-party advertisements.
If you contact us, we receive your email address and any information you include in your message or attachments.
Please do not send sensitive child or health information unless it is necessary for us to resolve your request.
Vumio does not require a separate Vumio account.
Your baby profiles, photos, caregiver profiles, care records, notes, and related preferences are stored locally on your device.
iCloud sync is enabled by default when iCloud is available on your device. Apple CloudKit synchronizes supported app data through the private iCloud account associated with your Apple Account. You can disable iCloud sync at any time in Vumio settings. Disabling sync does not automatically delete data already stored in iCloud. To delete stored data, use the “Delete All Data” option or manage Vumio’s data through your device’s iCloud settings. Apple operates iCloud and processes that information under its own terms and privacy policy.
Vumio does not operate a separate server that stores your baby profiles, photos, or care records.
Baby profiles, photos, care records, notes, and app preferences are processed only on your device to:
provide records, timers, history, charts, and summaries;
personalize the app based on your choices;
run reminders on your device;
save your selected profiles and settings.
This information is not sent to the Vumio developer and is not stored on servers operated by Vumio.
If you enable iCloud sync, supported information is stored in your personal iCloud environment and synchronized between your devices through Apple’s CloudKit service.
Outside this local and optional iCloud processing, limited information may be processed:
by Apple and RevenueCat to verify and restore subscription access;
by Apple and RevenueCat to measure the performance of Vumio’s own Apple Search Ads campaigns;
by us if you choose to contact us by email for support or a privacy request.
Vumio does not use, sell, or share baby profiles, care records, photos, or notes for targeted advertising.
Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar laws apply, the applicable legal bases may include:
performance of a contract, to provide the features you request;
consent, for optional features such as notifications, photo selection, and iCloud sync where consent is required;
legitimate interests, such as managing subscriptions, protecting the operation of the app, responding to support requests, measuring our own Apple Search Ads campaigns, and preventing misuse, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights;
compliance with legal obligations.
When you enter sensitive information about another person, including a child, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.
Where consent is required by law, you may withdraw it by disabling the relevant optional feature or deleting the relevant information, subject to applicable legal limitations.
Limited information may be processed by or disclosed to:
Apple, for App Store purchases, device services, notifications, Apple Search Ads measurement, and optional iCloud/CloudKit sync;
RevenueCat, to manage purchases, subscription status, entitlements, and Apple Search Ads attribution;
professional advisers, authorities, courts, or law-enforcement bodies when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud or misuse, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
a successor if Vumio is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of the application, subject to applicable law and appropriate protection of personal information.
RevenueCat does not receive your baby profiles, care records, photos, notes, onboarding answers, reminder settings, or other user-created content from Vumio.
Apple and RevenueCat process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Apple and RevenueCat may process limited subscription, technical, or attribution information in countries other than the country where you live.
Where required by applicable law, these providers are responsible for using appropriate transfer safeguards, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or equivalent lawful mechanisms.
Your baby profiles and care records are not transferred to servers operated by Vumio. If you enable iCloud, Apple determines where and how your iCloud information is processed under its own terms and privacy practices.
Information stored locally remains on your device until you:
delete individual records;
delete a baby profile;
use Settings > Delete All Data;
or remove the app.
App deletion behavior and device backups are controlled by your device and Apple settings.
If iCloud sync is enabled, deletions made in Vumio are intended to synchronize through CloudKit. Removal from all devices, cached copies, or Apple’s backups may not be immediate. You may also manage Vumio’s iCloud data through your Apple device settings.
Apple and RevenueCat retain purchase, subscription, and transaction-related information according to their own legal obligations and retention policies.
Support communications are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, resolve problems, maintain appropriate business records, and comply with applicable law.
Deleting Vumio or your local data does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription.
You can view, correct, and delete most information directly inside Vumio.
You may also:
disable iCloud sync;
disable or change reminders;
withdraw notification permission through device settings;
remove selected photos;
delete individual records or profiles;
delete all app data through Vumio settings;
manage your subscription through your Apple Account.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, or information about processing. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
To exercise a right concerning information controlled by us, contact madebykd.app@gmail.com. We may need to verify your request.
For information controlled directly by Apple, including iCloud and App Store information, please use Apple’s privacy tools or contact Apple.
Vumio uses Apple’s platform storage and security features and limits external processing to what is required for subscriptions, Apple Search Ads measurement, and support.
No device, storage system, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You are responsible for protecting access to your device and Apple Account, using an appropriate device passcode, and maintaining any backups you consider necessary.
Vumio does not create user accounts or ask children to submit personal information directly to the developer.
The app is designed primarily for parents and caregivers. A user who records information about a child is responsible for having the appropriate authority or permission to do so.
If you believe personal information has been sent directly to us by a child without appropriate permission, contact madebykd.app@gmail.com.
Vumio is a personal record-keeping and organizational tool. It is not a medical device, healthcare provider, diagnostic service, treatment service, or substitute for professional medical advice.
Information stored or summarized in Vumio may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or affected by user entry and device issues.
For medical questions involving you or a child, contact a qualified healthcare professional. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to Vumio, service providers, or legal requirements.
We will publish the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or request consent.
