IAVCEI Grant

Travel grants are available for 2026 IAVCEI-CCVG members.

The grant is intended to support travel expenses (e.g. airline tickets) and does not include accommodation costs. 

Expenses will be reimbursed to the travel grant awardees after the event upon submission of valid receipts. 

The travel grant is reserved for 2026 IAVCEI-CCVG members. 

IAVCEI-CCVG membership requires payment of the annual membership fees via the IAVCEI website. The membership fee applies to the period 1 January through 31 December of any year. The membership fee is due in the first quarter of the year in question.

To apply for the travel grant, fill out the IAVCEI Vulcano 2026 travel grant form.

The deadline for the travel grant application is 31 January 2026.

The Vulcano School Organizing Committee will evaluate the candidates and establish a ranked list of eligible applicants by 10 February 2026. 

Successful candidates will be informed of the outcome and will have 10 days to book their travel and submit a copy of the payment by e-mail to vulcanosummerschool@gmail.com. 

Failure to submit proof of payment for travel expenses by 20 February 2026 will result in forfeiture of the travel grant. In such cases, the grant will be offered to the next applicant on the ranking list, who will likewise have 10 days to complete the booking and provide the required documentation. This procedure will continue until the available funds have been fully allocated.
