Our challenge was to design a brand new information architecture that focused on those use cases.
The entire mobile app project consisted of 2 design teams and 2 development teams on Publicis Sapient side. As well as in-house design team that lead British Gas’ brand identiy and design system for Responsive Web.
This was a hybrid design role, when I came in, I focused on designing UI for the new home screen of the app and later redesigning entire brand architucture from gathering initial requirements, conducing user interviews, wireframing, designing components, final UI screens and building the sketch library.
I was working closely with all of the teams. Business analysts and product managers to sort out API feasibilities and product requirements.
As well as creative directors and ux designers along with another senior UI designer I worked with closely to sort out the brand architecture, wireframing, testing, design and final delivery.
The app was built on React Native and my duties were to deliver assets and provide support for the development team.
All of the screens, sketch libraries and assets were delivered via Invision and Zeplin for developers to access the prototypes, inspect layout attributes and shared styles.
