This is a series of photographs I started in 2023 of little 3d printed robots I Modeled myself. The project has thus far has been a learning experience in 3d modeling, mechanical design, manufacture design, and photography. 

Most of the photos are taken during hiking trips, backpacking trips, urban walks and other outings. What got me started designing robots however was my interest in using my schools 3D printers to make easily manufacturable miniatures. The project quickly turned into a challenge to see how mechanically complex but easy to manufacture a robot I could make. 

The current 4th iteration robots have small chain based arms and ball joint legs but only prints in two pieces that can be tied together in under a minute after printing has finished. (seen left)
