The purpose of the Junior Club is provide an fun, safe environment for the siblings of the regular club to participate in, start being exposed to basic speech fundamentals and have opportunities to practice in preparation for the Junior Tournament during tournament season. As a result, this purpose for the Junior Club is to enable the whole family to actively participate (competitive-age students and their younger siblings). A secondary purpose to create an easier and smoother transition for juniors to become regular student competitors.
Vox Veritas Junior Club meets at Calvary Chapel Eastside on the second and fourth week of each month from
5-6:30pm
This is a fun and relaxed way to introduce speech and debate to young students thru activities and opportunities to practice speaking in front of people.
Intended for children ages 8 to 11 who are siblings of competitor students. This is not a day care program. As per club policy, Parents are expected to supervise their children and serve in a role in the club.
