Budget Process
Jay D will continue to be deeply involved in the budget process at North Ogden City. A few years ago a citizen budget committee was put together to gather feedback and suggestions on the budget, this committee has been invaluable in providing feedback and suggestions to the Council, Jay D will continue to encourage the public's participation.
Property Tax
Over the last few years North Ogden has dealt with high inflation rates. Jay D is committed to keep property taxes as reasonable as possible while not sacrificing the services the North Ogden residents have come to expect. A key to keeping property taxes in check is to gather more sales tax revenues through upcoming commercial growth in the city.
