Born and raised in San Jose, California, I have been passionate about public service and political involvement my entire life.
My passion for public service was sparked by one of my biggest role models: my mother. She began her career as a middle school teacher at Ida Price Middle School in 1990, and she has been dedicated to her students ever since. My mother also serves as the co-president of the Cambrian School District Teacher's Union. Seeing how her work serving students and fellow educators impacted the community around her has had a tremendous impact on me my entire life.
My passion for public service only grew when I earned my undergraduate degree in Global Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. My studies showed me just how much of an impact each person's actions and words have on the rest of society. This inspired me to pursue my J.D. at Pepperdine's Caruso School of Law with the goal of working in the public interest or for a non-profit.
Four years ago, I moved to Oak Park to go to school at Pepperdine Law and I fell deeply in love with the area and found a home. Oak Park is a beautiful area with an amazing community. I especially enjoy the area's trees and trails which are second to none. I hope to be a strong advocate for the interests of the people of Oak Park and I am passionate about bringing the community together to address key issues such as wildfire preparedness and a community evacuation plan.
